Background: The annual San Diego Unified Art Exhibit celebrates the creative and critical
thinking skills being developed by students of all ages from across the district. The various works
include paintings, drawings, photographs, and other forms of visual art. With a goal of
identifying creations that uniquely captured a student’s voice and vision, art educators
throughout the district were tasked with the difficult assignment of submitting the various
works to be shown.
For those unable to attend the exhibit in person, a companion online version featuring
approximately 350 works is available. The online exhibit includes a mix of creations shown at
the Ed Center, as well as additional material displayed exclusively online.
