San Diego, CA – The VAPA Foundation, whose mission is to increase access to and enhance the quality of arts education in the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD), has partnered with the San Diego International Film Festival and SDUSD for a Focus on Impact Film Series. All SDUSD Middle and High School teachers are invited to participate in the focus on Impact Film Series.
The Focus on Impact Film Series uses short films to explore complex social issues where students can take in new perspectives and determine how that information might change their own views and actions within their communities.
Through this program, teachers will receive a secure link to access each film along with a pre-recorded welcome from the film festival director, a virtual Q&A with filmmakers and teaching resource guide created by the VAPA department. Each film will be available for 72 hours.
Please fill out this form to receive updates for each film during this school year.
