VAPA Foundation to Distribute Nearly $400,000 in Art Supplies to Local Schools
More than 30 schools to benefit from generous donation

WHAT: The VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) Foundation has received a large in-kind donation of art supplies and will be distributing them to 60 teachers in the San Diego Unified School District. The supplies include dozens of paint brushes, canvases, paint sets, oil pastels, and paint pads. The generous donation is valued to nearly $400k worth of supplies and will benefit more than 30 schools.
WHY: VAPA is dedicated to promoting the arts within San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD). This recent donation helps art teachers throughout the county who are in need of updated supplies. Teachers from underserved schools had the first pick of the donations.
